Born in Astoria, Long Island City, he has lived in Toms River since 1968.
Richard was a truck driver for many years for Standard Tallow, Newark NJ and was a parishioner of St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Toms River.
He is survived by his wife Josephine C. (Aste) of 62 years; sons Richard A Curry (Karen) Mt. Laurel, NJ and Stephen P. Curry of Toms River. He is also survived by his grandchildren: Jacquelyn Bosso, Stephanie Curry, Stephen Curry, Thomas Curry, R.J. Curry and Nathaniel. He is also survived by two great grandchildren.
A visitation for Richard will be held Wednesday, January 22, 2025 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A funeral mass will occur Thursday, January 23, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 685 Hooper Ave, Toms River, NJ 08753. Interment will immediately follow at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Toms River.
