Richard H. Langel, age 81, of Berkeley Twp. died peacefully, surrounded by his family, Sunday, September 23, 2018 at Tallwoods Care Center, Bayville. Born in Newark, he lived in Iselin before coming to Toms River. He worked for Dupont in Newark as a Millwright Mechanic and proceeded to obtain numerous licenses in his field. He was a sweet, caring devoted father and husband who worked extremely hard to support his family. He had old school values that was passed down to his children. He was predeceased by his wife Angelina. He is survived by his by his sons: Christopher Langel and wife Debra of Lacey Twp., Mark Langel and wife Carmelina of Lacey Twp., Brian Langel and wife Ceil of Lithia, Florida; his daughter Tracy Lazorchak of Long Valley, NJ; his grandchildren: Nicole, Christopher, Mark Anthony, Danny, Kristen, Jonathon, Kenneth, Matthew and Lillian; and his great-grand daughter Madeline. Visitation will be Thursday, September 27th from 9:00 AM until the funeral service at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Toms River.
