Richard W. Mazzei

Richard W. Mazzei, 87, of Bayville passed away on November 13, 2025, at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Manhattan, NY, he has lived most of his life in Ocean County. After an early career in Real Estate and Insurance, Richard was inspired by his daughter Debbie to be a co-founder of Quality Medical Transport in Bayville, retiring in 2016. Richard loved photography, boating and spending time with his cherished family.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife Ann Mazzei, his grandson Douglas Murante, parents Joseph R. and Cecelia Mazzei and his brother Joseph Mazzei. Surviving are two sons, Richard and his wife Rosa and Robert and his wife Suzanne; a daughter Debbie Murante and her husband Salvatore Sr.; his sister Nancy Moskowitz and her husband Steve; sister-in-law Linda Hammond and her husband Al; 8 grandchildren, Salvatore Jr,. Robert, Elise, Nicholas, Daniel, Kristen, Ed and Kelly; 14 great grandchildren, Salvatore III, Ty, Danica, Pierce, Tucker, Parker, Carter, Landon, Madison, Anastasia, Elliana, Hunter, Nixon and Valentina.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 21, 2025, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River. A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, November 22 at 10:30 am at Ocean County Memorial Park,1722 Silverton Road, Toms River, NJ. Entombment will follow.
