Richard Charles Packen

Born in Elizabeth he was formerly of Jersey City & Bayonne before moving to Toms River. He was a retired teamster from Local 641. Richard was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle & friend.

Richard was a huge fan of the New York Yankees and the Green Bay Packers and enjoyed vacationing with his sister-in-law Carol and her husband Frank. He also enjoyed spending time with his brother-in-law Joseph Wasacz.

He was predeceased by his parents Marilyn and Stephen, siblings Steve Packen, Robert Packen and Marilyn Fergurson. He was the loving husband of 49 years to his dear wife Eileen and father of two children: Lisa Winegar and her husband Glenn and Robert Packen and his wife Lisa along with four grandchildren: Alyssa, Matthew, Drew and Trey.

Richard is also survived by four brothers: Kevin, Eddie, Wayne and Scott Packen and his sister Sharon Volker along with many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ.

A prayer service will be held on Monday November 21st at 10am at the funeral home. Cremation will be private.
