Rosemarie Carmela DiGirolamo

Rosemarie C. DiGirolamo, (nee Richiuso), 67, of Stafford Township, NJ formerly of Toms River passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Monday January 18, 2016, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Manahawkin, NJ. Born in Newark, NJ, Rosemarie graduated from Barringer High School, Newark in 1966. She later moved to Ocean County and spent most of her life in Toms River. Rosemarie served as the President of the St. Joseph’s Angels Pop Warner Football League in the 1980’s. She was a self-employed Beautician and loved to travel the Caribbean and enjoyed her trips to Atlantic City. She enjoyed doing Chinese Stitchery, Ceramics and had a love for the Theatre. For the past twenty years Rosemarie raised and bred many Yorkshire Terriers, her favorite beloved dog was Sylvester.

Rosemarie is survived by her devoted Husband of 46 years, Blasi, her loving daughter Joanne DiGirolamo of Stafford Twp., NJ, and son and daughter in law Joseph and Laura DiGirolamo of Jackson, NJ, her beloved granddaughter Gracie, her brother Joseph Richiuso of Boca Raton, Florida and Sister Annamarie Bracey of Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 4-8 pm at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. A Mass will be held Friday 10:00 am at the St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Toms River. Cremation will be private. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital, PO Box 1000 Dept. 142 Memphis, TN 38101-9908 in memory of Rosemarie.
