Rosemary Teresa Casazza

Rosemary T. Casazza 77, of Bayville, passed away on September 23, 2017 after a long illness. Born in Jersey City, she was a graduate of St. Michael’s High School in Union City. After working for Cunard in NYC and Jersey City State College, she and her husband moved their family to Bayville, where she began working for the Manchester Township school district from which she retired. Rosemary was an avid reader and Brownie Troop Leader.

In death, she is reunited with the love of her life, John and her parents Alfred Tassitano, Sr. and Lillian (DeMonte). She is survived by her devoted daughters Sherylann Middleton and Denise Casazza, granddaughters Rebecca and Sydney, all of Toms River; her siblings Alfred Tassitano, Jr. of Avenel, Janice Stewart of Matawan, Michael (Kathy) Tassitano of Barnegat and Annette (John) Clark of Toms River. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends, especially Patricia Byrnes of Jersey City and Joan Sheard of Bayville.

Visiting will be Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 2-4 & 7-9PM at the Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday, September 28, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Barnabas RC Church, 33 Woodland Rd, Bayville.
