Scott Keith

Scott N. Keith, 62, passed away on January 11, 2022, at Community Medical Center, Toms River, N.J.Scott was born in Jersey City to the late Hamond Keith and Mildred Keith (Locke) on October 18, 1959.Scott was employed by United Rentals of Wall, N.J. and a long-time member of Local 825 Operating Engineers Union. He was a dedicated and loving husband, father, and grandfather, who worked hard his entire life to provide for his family. In his spare time, he loved to garden and be with his family. During the summer, he loved to give away his homegrown vegetables. He was always there to give a helping hand to any friend or neighbor. Scott also loved animals and rescued many dogs and cats throughout his life. Surviving are his loving wife of 40 years, Lori Keith (DeVincentis), his son, Jeffrey Keith, daughter, Ashley Nicodemus, and son-in-law, Jesse Nicodemus. Also surviving are his 9 grandchildren, his 3 brothers, Michael Keith, William Keith, Timothy Keith, and his sister, Beatrice Kohl. Predeceased by his brother, Hamond Keith, Jr.A Celebration of Scott’s life will be held for family and friends at a future time when it is safer to gather.Cremation was entrusted to Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services.In lieu of flowers, donations to Amelia Air Animal Rescue in Scott Keith’s name would be appreciated. Amelia Air is a tax-exempt rescue organization that saves animals from high kill shelters, and rescued the new addition to our family, Hank.
