He was born in Point Pleasant, NJ on December 10, 1964 and was a resident
of Toms River before moving to Beachwood in 1989.
Steven graduated from both Toms River High School North and the Ocean
County Vo-Tech School in 1983, specializing in the electrical trades. After
graduation, Steven was fortunate to work in the electrical field his entire life as
he totally enjoyed the challenge of wiring complex medical buildings. Many of
us valued and benefited from his electrical expertise.
Steven’s hobbies included restoring his vintage 1964 ½ Ford Mustang. He
enjoyed playing soccer in his grade school years as well as watching soccer
throughout his adult years.
Steven was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Catherine Leifert.
Surviving are his daughter, Rebecca, and son-in-law, Michael DiFino. Also
surviving are his brothers Douglas and Brian, his sister, Susan and many loving
nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will take place on Sunday, July 13 from 2 – 4pm at
Anderson & Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River.
