Terrence C. Dugan

Born in Bayonne, Terry made a life marked by love, humor, and kindness. He was the beloved husband of Janet Marie (née O’Connor), with whom he shared 58 years of unwavering partnership and companionship. Together, they built a family anchored in warmth and mutual dedication.

Terry was a loving father to daughter Jennifer Dugan Stocks and her husband Jonathan, and to son Terrence Dugan and his wife Simone. His greatest pride and joy were his three granddaughters: Claire and Carly Stocks, and Skyler Dugan, all of whom brought immeasurable happiness to his life, and who will forever cherish their memories of him.

He is survived by his brother, Joseph, and his sister, Rose Ann Dwyer, and is predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Mary McGinley Dugan; his brothers, Charles, Dennis, Daniel, John, Cormick, and Patrick; and his sisters, Sheila Christie, Mary Loprest, Margaret Givens, and Kathleen Sheppard.

Throughout his years in Toms River, Terry was known for his easy charm, genuine care for others, and the generosity he extended to all who were fortunate to know him. Whether spending time with family, sharing stories with his many friends, he made a lasting impression through both word and deed.

Terry loved Dion, flea markets, macaroni salad, poker with his friends and winter holidays in LBI with his family.

Terry’s legacy endures in the love he gave, the laughter he shared, and the family he held so dear. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
