
Born in Orange, NJ he lived there and in Irvington before settling in Silver Ridge Park West.
Prior to his retirement, Mr. Simon was a Salesman for over 42 years for Kraft Foods, Hillside, and was a United States Army Veteran of World War II.
Mr. Simon was extremely involved in the Fords Clara Barton Boys Baseball League as a coach and as an officer.
He was also involved in the Fords Youth Association, and was a sponsor of the Bearcat Football and served as president of the Girls Softball League.
He later served as the President of the Central Jersey Pop Warner. As a husband and a father, he will truly be missed.
He was predeceased by his son, Stephen Simon, in 2015; his granddaughter, Elizabeth Rozek in 2014; and his sister, Norma.
Surviving are his wife, Dorothy; his children, Victor Simon III and his wife Darlene of Aberdeen, Cathy Rozek and her husband Andrew of Jackson, Carl Simon of Williamsburg, VA, and Curt Simon and his wife Nancy of Red Bank; and his grandchildren, Michelle, Samantha, Christopher and Daniel.
Visitation will be on Friday 2-5, with funeral service at 5pm at Horizon Funeral and Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
Cremation will be private.
