William Gillespie Conover III

William G. Conover, III, passed away at home on Thursday, June 4th, surrounded by his loving family. William was born in Bound Brook NJ and grew up in Barnegat Light New Jersey before moving to Toms River.

Bill is survived by his loving wife Robin, of 18 years. He was a caring and giving father and grandfather to Nicole and Joel McNett of Pennsylvania, Andrew Nycz of Florida and Paige and Andrew Nolfi of Toms River, and three grandchildren, Jack and Elle McNett and Lena Nolfi.

Robin was the love of his life, meeting thru a mutual friend, marrying in the Methodist church. Christian in spirit, he was a seeker on the path all his life.

Bill had many loves and passions. He loved fishing and sharing his experiences with friends and family. He had a special love for animals, most recently his dog Tracker, who was his constant companion. Bill loved the beach and spending time with friends around summer bonfires. He was an avid hiker and loved the outdoors. Robin and Bill traveled recently to the Florida Keys. Their favorite vacation of all was Barbados back in 2013.

William owned and operated Millcreek Restoration Services and Carpet Cleaning for 25 years. The reputation Bill established with his many customers was based on trust and friendship. He was known for being dependable and honest. Bill continued training and developing his skills throughout his career to be the best he could be and offer excellent service. He was a specialist in his field of mold remediation.

William was a member of The Rotary Club of Barnegat, New Jersey, Southern Ocean County Chamber of Commerce, Association of Cleaning Technicians and the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration.

In lieu of flowers donations in Bill’s name may be made to the American Cancer Society.

A Memorial Gathering will be held on Sunday, June 7, 2015, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. with a Prayer Service at 2:30 p.m. at Anderson and Campbell Funeral Home, 703 Main Street, Toms River, NJ.
