William H. Kennedy

William “Bill” H. Kennedy of Toms River, NJ, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on February 20, 2024 at the age of 81.

Bill is survived by his spouse of 45 years, Lillian Kennedy of Toms River, NJ, his children William “BK”, Doris “Sis”, Patty, Kevin and Jonathan “Jon”. He is also survived by eight grandchildren, his sister, Syrilla and several nieces and nephew. He is predeceased by his parents, Thomas and Anne, and his sisters Carol and Margie.

Bill was born on March 10, 1942 in Trenton, NJ and has been a lifelong resident of Toms River. Bill was employed by Point Bay Fuel for many years, retiring in 2012. Bill has been past chief of the Toms River Fire Department No 2 and is a lifetime member. He joined the fire department in 1960. Bill has been involved with NAOHSM (National Association Oil Heat Service Managers) for many years. Bill was an active member of the Ortley Beach Moose Lodge #399. Bill loved Disney (Old Key West Resort) and often referred to it as his second home. If you could not find Bill at Disney, you could find him at the ocean.
