Adam Decker

Adam was of German descent, born in Obrez, Yugoslavia, the second oldest of six children of parents Adam and Katarina Decker; he is predeceased by his older sister Liesel and younger siblings Ferdinand, Rosi, and Philipp. Adam is survived by his wife of 54 years, Lydia Decker (Dautermann), his sister Erika and her husband Wolfgang Muller, his brother-in-law Dieter Witte (widower of his sister Rosi), his son Tim (Timmy as he called him), his granddaughters Jordan, Megan and Jaclyn, his daughter-in-law Karen Dewey Decker, and his nieces and nephews: Margaret, Ernie, Roy and his wife Teresa, Debbie and her husband Kris (Moe), Danny and his wife Cynthia, David and Heidi.

Adam was a devoted husband, dad and Opa who dearly loved his family and God. He faithfully and actively attended various Pentecostal churches since the 1950s until his health would no longer enable him to do so. Adam's greatest wish was that he would one day live together with all of his loved ones in heaven for eternity.

A visitation for Adam will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A visitation will occur Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will occur Saturday, November 20, 2021 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A private burial will follow the funeral service.

Proof of full vaccination, along with government issued ID, are mandatory to attend indoor visitations and or funeral services in the funeral home for those age 12 and older. Masks are required.

Effective Friday, July 16, 2021 The Bereavement Authority of Ontario has mandated:

• Permitted gatherings inside a funeral home for funeral visitation and chapel services, all family\guests that do not live in the same household must maintain the six foot physical distancing rule.

• Indoors at a church – all family\guests that do not live in the same household must maintain the six foot physical distancing rule

• Outdoors – all family\guests that do not live in the same household must maintain the six foot physical distancing rule for outdoor service (the cemetery may limit the number of people in attendance for outdoor services as well as indoor services)

• Cycling or rotating of guests are permitted

• Masks or face coverings continue to be required at all funeral services and visitations

• Two metres (six feet) of physical distancing, except for members of the same household who live together

• Continue cleaning and disinfecting all rooms
