Peacefully at Chester Village on Saturday, September 15th, 2012. She was one of the kindest people you would ever want to meet. Over the years, she opened her heart and her home to all. Predeceased by her husband Frank, she will be sorely missed by her children Shirley Lowther (Bob), June Schwar (Helmut), Wayne Taylor (Carol), Dawn Jacot (Paul), Suzanne Quartermain (Al), Janice Jones (Brian), as well as her 32 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great –great-granddaughter. Predeceased by her daughter Marilyn Fawcett (Don). Aldeane was a long-time resident in Toronto’s Beach area and attended Kimberley Public School. A busy and devoted mother, she spent countless hours providing wise counsel to her family and friends, as well as being known for her masterful cooking and sewing. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 18th 6 to 8 p.m. at the GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME 2570 Danforth Ave. Service in the chapel on Wednesday, September 19th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
