Alfredo was a devoted father to Roberto and Jennifer (Joel).
A loving brother to Edith Rodriguez, Edgar Rivera (Ana) and Alex Rivera (Dušan). The cherished uncle of Cindy Rodriguez, Margot Rodriguez (Mario), Erika Grabys and Ernesto Rivera. And a steadfast friend; someone whose quiet strength left a lasting mark on everyone he knew.
Born in El Salvador, Alfredo made his way to Toronto driven by a singular purpose: to build a better life for his family. He carried that determination with him every day, and in doing so became a living example of resilience, sacrifice, and unconditional love.
He will be forever remembered for his strength, his generosity of spirit, and his gift for making those around him feel truly seen and valued.
He has been reunited in Heaven with his parents Maria and Benigno Rivera and his brother-in-law Francisco Rodriguez.
The family extends sincere thanks to the caregivers and nurses at West Park for their compassionate care.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W., Toronto (St. Clair Ave W.\Dufferin St.) on Thursday, April 23rd from 10:00am-11:30am.
The Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 12:00pm in the Chapel at Jerrett Funeral Home.
Cremation will follow the service privately.
If desired, the family have requested donations in Memory of Alfredo Rivera be made to West Park Healthcare Centre (UHN), Patient Care.
