DODD, Amanda Gertrude Jean
Having lived a full life, Amanda Jean Dodd passed away peacefully on Friday May 13th, 2016 at the age of 97. She married the love of her life Percy Dodd on February 1st, 1941 and was a pillar of strength during his military service and in life. They had a loving and happy marriage until his passing in 1985. She loved her garden, the church and spending time with family. She will be greatly missed.
Loving Mother to Robert (Patricia), Carolyn (Wayne) and late James (Virginia). Proud Grandmother of Michelle (Ken), Michael, David (Cara), Kristin (Chris), late John (Marie). Great-Grandmother to Holly, Russell, Sebastian, Jordan, Spencer, and Great Step-Grandmother to Lucas, Kristen and Karlee. Predeceased by her brother George Free (Doreen).
An intimate service will be held Saturday May 21st at 2pm at GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2570 Danforth Avenue, Toronto.
In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated by the family to The Alzheimer’s Society of Canada.
