Angelo Jomari Reyes-Alviar. An extraordinary man with many nicknames: Gelo, Jomari,
Jango, Kuya, and Baba. Angelo was a bright spirit with a mind of wisdom. He was an astounding
older brother, cousin, friend, and most importantly, a phenomenal son who strived to achieve his
goals while creating a legacy. Angelo was always the person to light up the room with delight,
laughter, and smiles. Through Jomari’s confidence and charisma, happiness would be brought to
those around him, even if they were feeling as if they were at their lowest. He made people feel
as if they belong. Angelo had a free soul with the mindset of acceptance and manifestation. He
explored new things and consistently stepped out of his comfort zone. With this mindset, Gelo
was able to be free and accepted the things that were out of his control. He expressed whatever
he wanted, said whatever he wanted, and did whatever he wanted. This is what made Gelo –
Gelo. Angelo is a person who was always there for you, taught valuable lessons, allowed people
to live life when they were with him. Judgement was not something you would have to fear
while being around him. He was the one of the realest people someone can ever meet within their
lifetime. He has always looked out for everyone. Wherever he was, there were always smiles and
laughter in the air. He made everyone feel welcome no matter who they were. Jomari ensured
that people were always having fun, especially his family. Gelo was the life of the party, but
someone anyone can have a serious talk with. Although he knew many people’s life secrets, he
was always a private person, loyal to the people he cared for, always putting his loved ones first,
taking care of them, and making sure they had everything they needed. Gelo always had a warm
heart and filled everything with happiness. He’s someone you always felt comfortable turning to
whenever you needed something as simple as a smile on your face. Those who truly knew
Angelo Jomari can all agree losing him was like losing a piece of themselves. They would all do
anything just to have another conversation with him. There was never a dull moment with
Jomari, he truly never failed to put a smile on anyone’s face. He was a true blessing from above.
Jomari’s gentle soul has touched everyone’s heart. His soul will forever be joking around and
being playful with everyone. Jomari deserves to be happy. Not tired, not hurt, only happy living
in a paradise. Angelo is an Angel. We thank this young man for everything. He did amazing
things in this world. He truly did his best. Rest now Gelo, your family and friends will love you
forever. See you later Baba.
