

In Loving Memory of Antonio D’Aliesio ~ With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life well lived, we announce the peaceful passing of Antonio D’Aliesio, who left us on July 25, 2025, at the age of 94, surrounded by the love of his family in Toronto, Ontario.
Antonio was born on March 26, 1931, in Cassino, Frosinone, Italy, and carried with him a strong sense of tradition, faith, and family throughout his life. He has now been reunited in Heaven with his beloved parents, Maria Giuseppa and Francesco D’Alesio, his dear sister Filomena, and cherished brothers Guido and Domenico.
He leaves behind the love of his life and best friend of 70 years, his devoted wife Vincenza, with whom he built a beautiful life full of love, laughter, and unwavering partnership.
Antonio was a proud and loving father to Lina (Giuseppe Tamburrini), Josie (Remo Giannandrea), Olympia (Antonio Rossi), and Lisa (Mario Giannandrea). He was a deeply adored Nonno to Silvia (Nicola), Deni (Leighann), David (Cecilia), Laura (Jim), Christina (Chris), Bianca (TJ), Anthony (Emily), Paolo, and Gabriella, and a joyful Bisnonno to Nicholas, Lorenzo, Liliana, Marco, Andreas, Spiro, Luca, Giovanni, Audrianna, Ava, Noah, Chase, Ada, Margot, Taylor and Brooke. Each grandchild and great-grandchild brought him endless pride and joy.
Antonio’s warmth, strength, and generosity touched everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends. His legacy of love, humility, and devotion will live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know him.
Visitation will take place at Delmoro Funeral Home (61 Beverly Hills Dr., near Wilson and Jane) on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, from 2:00–4:00pm and 6:00–9:00pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, July 31, 2025, at St. Fidelis Catholic Church (33 Connie Street, Toronto at 10:00am).
For those who cannot attend in person, the Mass will be livestreamed and viewable at the time of the service or in the days following on the Delmoro website.
Please note: On the morning of the Mass, friends are kindly asked to proceed directly to the church to allow the family a few quiet moments together beforehand.
Entombment will follow at Glendale Cemetery (1810 Albion Rd.) in the Last Supper Mausoleum.
For those who wish, donations in memory of Antonio D’Aliesio can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation as an expression of sympathy.
Antonio’s life was a gift, and his memory will continue to be a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
