Basilio Corazza (aka Basil) passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 13, 2022, at the age of 85 years. Basilio was born on December 8, 1936 in Salobbi di Brez, Italy. Beloved husband of 61 years to Carmen, loving father of Mariangela and Franco, and proud nonno of Sarah and Kristen. Brother of Silvio (Irene), Flavio (Bruna), Bruno, Lidio, Renato (Elizabeth) and Maria (Giuseppe). He will be remembered fondly by his many nieces and nephews. Known for his humor, storytelling, big smile and love for coffee, Basilio loved to make other’s smile.
Second to his love for his family, Basilio was an avid cyclist that would ride through the Humber River Trail near his home. During his retirement, you could always hear him tell you a story about what or who he saw on his bike ride that day. Basilio was always able to go on his own adventures through walking or biking the trails. Other hobbies enjoyed by Basilio were gardening, telling jokes, playing cards, making fires and watching hockey.
