Biagio Virdo

Passed away suddenly at the age of 71 in Tottenham, Ontario. Predeceased by brothers Onofrio, Paolo, and sister Rosa. Survived by loving and devoted wife, Palma. Wonderful father of Raffaele and Paul (Enza). Proud nonno of Giulia. Loving Brother of Domenico, Giuseppe, and Palma and Brother in law of Domenico, Francesco, and Giuseppe. Biagio will be deeply missed by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Biagio was a choir member at the Opera Belcanto of York for many years. He took great pride in his granddaughter Giulia, who he often took for tractor rides and played the guitar with. He loved traveling, mushroom picking, gardening, and landscaping his beautiful front yard. Above all else, Biagio loved his family. Friends and family will be called to the JERRETT FUNERAL HOME (1141 St. Clair Ave W., Toronto, ON. One block east of Dufferin St.) on Sunday, January 21, 2018 from 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Clare’s Catholic Church on Monday, January 22nd, 2018 at 11:30 am (1118 St. Clair Ave W.,) Entombment at Prospect Cemetery to follow (1450 St. Clair Ave W.,).
