Blair was born on July 30, 1995, at Scarborough Grace Hospital in Toronto, to Lori Wells and Neil Macdonald. Blair grew up in the Beaches neighbourhood in Toronto, and was a cheerful, active, and well-loved child, brimming with life and confidence and the ability to make anyone laugh.
Blair attended Williamson Road Public School and Glen Ames Senior Public School, and after graduating from Malvern Collegiate Institute, he attended Laurentian University in Sudbury.
Blair was an excellent athlete, and sports were his passion. He was enrolled in house league hockey at an early age, and played AA hockey for various clubs in the GTHL. In addition, Blair loved lacrosse, playing for several seasons on the Beaches Lacrosse Club's field and box teams, and on Laurentian's field team. He won numerous championship on many teams.
In recent years, Blair took up running, and ran two full marathons.
He and his partner, Vittoria Di Paola, also loved to travel. They had visited several countries in Europe and South America, and were full of plans to visit many more in the coming years.
Blair had embarked on a career in the financial services industry, and was looking ahead to a bright future. He had one more course to complete to attain his Chartered Investment Manager designation, and was fully committed to working toward further designations. His last position was as Internal Wholesaler - Business Development Manager with First Trust Financial.
Blair is survived by his parents, Lori and Neil; stepmother, Mona; brother, Scotty (Dakota): his loving partner, Vittoria; and their dog, Scarlett; and his extended Macdonald and Wells family. He leaves a large and extensive network of friends, many of whom he knew from childhood and his many teams, and who thought the world of Blair.
Blair's absence has left a void in all our lives that can never be filled. He is dearly missed, and will live forever in our memories.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at the Balmy Beach Club, at the foot of Beech Avenue, south of Queen Street E., in the Beaches.
In lieu of flowers, the family gratefully welcomes donations to Sick Kids Foundation and the Canadian Tire Jump Start Program.
