Our beloved Brenda left us too soon at 66 years of age, my spouse, my best friend and my partner for life passed away on Jan 6, 2026. Brenda has struggled with severe back and stomach pain for the past 2 years.
Unfortunately, doctors were never able to find the source of her never-ending pain. Brenda was diagnosed at the time of her passing by the coroner to have had an ulcer that had deteriorated a blood vessel in her lower intestine which ruptured causing fatal internal bleeding. She passed peacefully in her sleep. Despite her immense bravery and the efforts of her doctors, this new information on her health and treatment came too late.
Brenda’s Mother, Hazel Joan Horan nee: Robertson and Father, Joseph Gerard Horan are both deceased along with her brother Mickey and sister Mary Lou as well as ex-husband Robert Johnston.
Bren is survived by:

Invitations will be sent to those for attendance at the Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will follow with close friends and family at 1060 Sheppard Ave. W. Unit number 1004. This will be hosted by Anna, Brenda’s best friend also known as “sister Anna”.
Brenda also known as Bren, Brennie, Brenditta, Bee will be remembered as an extremely kind, giving, loving and thoughtful human being with the brightest sparkling eyes, the most beautiful smile and natural curly hair. A person who always brightened up any room and was the life of the party. Those that knew Bren also knew that she was also known as the “Champagne Queen”.
Brenda, you need to know how deeply you will be missed by me and all of your friends and family. You are the Love of My Life. With all my LOVE forever, Johnny Boy.
Brenda asks anyone who is willing and able to donate their time or money to the Cancer Society to do so as a way to honor Brenda.
