Carmine (Carmen) Provvisionato, 95, of Toronto, ON, passed away peacefully on Wednesday April 15th, 2026.

Beloved husband of Lina Provvisionato for 68 years. Loving father of Saro Provvisionato (Stephanie), Enza Provvisionato (Tom Boyle), and Carlo Provvisionato (Sue Brown).

Cherished grandfather of Sara (Alvin), the late James, Andrew, Laura (Jamie), Michael and Julia.

Caring great grandfather of Alessio and Siena.

Held in loving memory by his sister Mary (Joe) and brother Tony (the late Dolores).

Predeceased by sisters Anna Mestriner (Beppi) and Louisa Paradiso (Gianni).

Born on December 9, 1930 in Trani, Italy Carmen was the son of Salvatore Provvisionato and Vincenza Gianotti. From Italy he took on the challenging journey to start a new life in Canada. With few resources and speaking little English, through his relentless work ethic, charming personality and sense of humour he was able to carve out a successful career in the hospitality industry, including many years at some of the finest establishments in the city. He then went on to be an independent investor. Through his family he met the love of his life, Lina, after a brief courtship they were married and soon after started their family. Carmen was above all else, a devoted family man, he will be remembered for all his sacrifices to make a better life for his family. He was always happiest at family gatherings surrounded by loved ones.

Visitation will take place at Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St Clair Ave West (At Dufferin St.) Toronto, on Tuesday April 21st from 2PM-4PM and 6PM-8PM. A funeral service will be held at St. Clare Catholic Church 1118 St. Clair Ave West (At Dufferin St.), Toronto on Wednesday April 22nd at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St. Clair Avenue West (at Caledonia Rd).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association.

Our Carmen/Dad/Pops- Forever loved, he will be deeply missed.
