Kretschmar, Catherine Florence - November 19, 1943- June 7, 2024
Passed away peacefully, with daughter Susan by her side on Friday, June 7, 2024 in her 80th year. Catherine Florence Kretschmar (nee Black), beloved wife of the late H. Walter Kretschmar. Predeceased by brother Darcy Black and sister Heather Kerr. Loving mother of Susan Kretschmar, and Kurt Kretschmar (Janet Cartwright). Catherine will be fondly remembered by grandsons, Daniel Scott and Benjamin Scott.
The family wishes to thank the Emergency Dept., Cardiac Intensive Unit and the Oncology Clinic staff at Michael Garron Hospital, as well as Toronto Fire, Toronto Ambulance and the Toronto Police Service for their kind and compassionate care.
At Catherine’s request, there will be no visitation, nor funeral. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the Kohai Educational Center and Camp Kennebec – two wonderful programs that support developmentally atypical adults.
