Cindy Ann Boersma

January 19, 1968 – June 13, 2025

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Cindy Ann Boersma on June 13, 2025. Cindy was born on January 19, 1968, in Toronto, Ontario, to Clarence and Patricia Boersma both predeceased.

Cindy brought laughter, warmth, and a vibrant spirit wherever she went. Her profound sense of humor, curiosity, and outgoing nature made her a friend to everyone she met. She had an incredible ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Cindy dedicated several years to volunteering at Michael Garron Hospital (formerly Toronto East General Hospital), where she touched many lives with her kindness and compassion.

She had a deep love for music, especially the timeless songs of Elvis Presley. Cindy was also an active athlete, proudly playing wheelchair ringette. A passionate sports fan, she cheered enthusiastically for her two favorite teams—the Toronto Maple Leafs and the Toronto Blue Jays.

Cindy will be dearly missed by her siblings: Annette & Jimmy, Gerrit & Julie and Simon & Sandra.

Her memory lives on in her cherished nieces and nephew: Chase & Joely, Alishia & Chris, Hailey & Michael, Britney & Davis, and Rebecca.

She also leaves behind her beloved great-nieces and nephew; Bray, Olivia, Avery, and Hayden.

Cindy was predeceased by her mother Patricia ( Brady), father Clarence, and her brother Simon.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Sunnybrook Hospital and all the PACE staff for the exceptional care and compassion they provided to our beloved sister, Cindy.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Cindy will be held Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON M4C1L3, followed by a funeral service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
