Passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Sunday, November 9, 2025, at Michael Garron Hospital, in her 90th year. Beloved wife of Peter (predeceased 2016), of 56 years. Loving mother of Paul (Maria), Frank, MaryJane (Vince), Raymond (Tina), and Anthony. Cherished Nanna of Michelle, Sabrina, Samantha, Madeleine, Priscilla, and Emma. Connie was born in Tarxien, Malta. In 1960, she married Peter (who had already immigrated to Canada in April 1953) and, together, they returned to Canada, where they started and raised their family of five children. Connie will be dearly missed by all of her relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Canadian Cancer Society or Michael Garron Hospital.
Visitation will be held at Giffen-Mack & Trull Funeral Home, located at 2570 Danforth Ave, Toronto, ON, M4C1L3, Canada. The visitation times are scheduled for November 16, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
The Funeral Mass will take place at Canadian Martyrs, situated at 522 Plains Rd, Toronto, ON, M4C 2Z1, Canada, on November 17, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The Committal Service is set for November 17, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm at Pine Hills Cemetery and Funeral Centre, 625 Birchmount Rd, Toronto, ON, M1K 1R1, Canada.
