Cornelia Margaret Crowley

She married her husband Malcolm Crowley on May 19th, 1956 and was mother to 3 daughters, Debbie(deceased), June (married to Dave Billings)and Sharon (married to Neil Sherman). The family emigrated to Canada in 1964 and settled in Toronto.

She is Grandmother to Ryan, Samantha, Chelsea, (married to Johnny Young) and Kieran Sherman (Sharon's family) , Sean Billings (married to Alessia Rodriguez di Eugenio) (June's family) and Great Grandmother to Wee Jack (Chelsea and Johnny)

She looked after both June and Sharon until they attended school full time before entering the workforce in Canada. Eventually she would join Sunnybrook Hospital Medical Education Program in its infancy, going on to become Administrative Coordinator. Retiring in 1994, as Nanny to her Grandson Sean, she travelled to Vancouver, Alaska and Hawaii with the Canadian/International tour of The Phantom of the Opera, while daughter June performed the role of Christine.

At the end of the tour she returned to her home in the Beach spending many a happy walk with her dog Wee Angus of Balmy.

She made many trips to Scotland to visit her mum Nan who was in failing health and sadly passed away.

Recently, Connie had a wonderful time attending the wedding of Grandson Sean Billings, and delighted in watching Great Grandson Jack’s joy opening presents at his third birthday party.

Connie wanted to reach the age of 100, but sadly it was not to be, she was battling with heart disease later in life. Her passing was very peaceful, surrounded by Malcolm, June, Sharon, Dave, and love.

Private cremation has occurred, Celebration of Life to be held at a later date, details to follow soon.
