Passed away peacefully at home with family by his side on Monday, February 22, 2016 at the age of 83. Devoted husband of Patricia for 60 years. Loving Dad of Susan (Warren Barbour). Proud Bampa of Sydney, Avery, and Ruby. Derek will be fondly remembered and dearly missed by his family and friends in Canada and Wales. A private memorial service will take place. The family would like to thank everyone for their kind words and warm prayers. In Memory of Derek, donation may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
