Peacefully in Toronto on Friday, February 3rd 2012 in her 79th year, Doreen, beloved mother of Cheryl (Wayne Panagopka), Robert (Heather), Louise (Alain Hotte), Denise (Philip) Stogianou and the late George Trevor Fontaine. Loving Grandma of Charles, Rachel, Sacha (Valerie), Sarah, Patrick and Ryan and great-grandmother of Lukas. Dear sister of Doris Simser, predeceased by her parents and 6 siblings and her former husband Antonin (Tony) Fontaine. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 7th, 2012 in the Giffen-Mack Chapel, 2570 Danforth Ave. (next to Main St. Subway Station). Cremation has already taken place and her cremated remains will be interred in her hometown of Ottawa at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society.
