Doreen Ann Hart

Suddenly, Doreen passed away at the Michael Garron Hospital on December 2, 2020 at age 81. Doreen was the eldest daughter of Gertrude (deceased) and Gordon (deceased). Fondly remembered by her siblings Fred (Linda), John (Bridget), Colleen Kayama (Glenn), her two nephews Paul (Tammy) and Ian (Susan), great nieces and nephews Joshua, Charlotte, Mya and Nathan.

Doreen was a dedicated employee and enjoyed a long career at the Royal Insurance. In her spare time, she enjoyed most sports and was an avid participant in curling and lawn bowling as a member of East York and Leaside clubs.

The family would like to sincerely thank all the staff of the Donway Place Retirement Home and the Michael Garron Hospital for the excellent care they gave Doreen.

A private family funeral service was held at Giffen-Mack Funeral Home. Burial was at St. John’s Norway Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the charity of your choice.

The Lord is my Shepherd; I shall not
