Good-bye dear and cherished friend.   We shall miss your warm and charitable way.  Many were the years of friendship and sharing of our faith.  We were so blessed to share our lives with you.   Our camping trips, our house parties and most of all our weekly prayer meetings at Holy Redeemer College where we gathered to worship and praise the Lord. Many were the Life in the Spirit Seminars that were given at Holy Redeemer College.   We will miss your warm hugs, your prayers, your laughter and thoughtful heart.   Thanks for being with us through all the happy times and the sad times of our lives.  Please remember to pray for us and for our families.  We so need them.    Our love and thanks go with you dear Brother and friend.  You so loved the Lord and we are sure you have reached the Father's House.  May Our Mother of Perpetual Help hold you close to her heart.

So sad to hear of the loss of this dear man. He was a big part of my childhood and adolescence growing up in Windsor functioning almost like a cherished uncle to my family. I will never forget his kind demeanor, frequent little riddles and being shown his "Pride and Joy".  He would often show up at our family's door at Easter with an Easter Lily. May you rest in peace. I was privilaged to have met Brother Edgar in the Spring of 1998 as part of teh SERVE group at Gerard House on Howland Avenue.  Brother Edgar helped me alot as I was dealing with an illness that would get worse before it got better - to help me as I struggled to understand why I had to go through such hard times with this chroic renal failure and eventually hope for a transplant, Brother Edgar prayed for and with me. He made me laugh with his sense of humor and I have to say has been one of the most holy and inspiring people I have had the privlage of ever meeting.  I am truly blessed to say that I spent time with and getting to know Brother Edgar and as I write this I know he must be showing off his "Pride and Joy" to all the angels and saints!!  Until we meet again my dear, sweet Brother Edgar may you rest in peace with the angels and forever happy to be finally with your Saviour and Lord.
To the family of Brother Edgar - I am sory for your loss - Brother Edgar was an exceptional man and you must know how blessed you are to have had him as a family member and also please be comforted with the knowledge that he is finally with his Lord and Saviour.

We will miss you sorely, Brother Edgar.  We thank you for your genuine kindness, caring and fervent prayers.  The Angels will happily guide you to your eternal rest as we continue to pray for each other.  God bless you Brother Edgar.

Our condolences to Bro. Edgar's family and to his religious family.  He was a man loved by all.  He always had a joke to tell even while serving food to the many visitors at Holy Redeemer College.  I will always cherish that time and those jokes.  You wore out your old Pride and Joy and we had missed that picture but someone redid it in colour for you so your Pride and Joy reappeared.  
We will miss not having you for supper anymore, the house will not be the same without your yearly visits.  You and Bro. Nick are probably having a good euchre game up there. Please pray for us now as you did while you were here with us.

I offer Brother Edgar's family and Religious family my heartfelt condolences.  Wherever you went with Edgar people would remember him.  He exuded warmth and kindness and genuine care for all people.  He helped me move so many times in my life, both physically to new apartments and spiritually to new prayerfulness.  Edgar was the only person I knew who if he was tired could fall asleep in a room full of noisy people.  One time when I was helping my best friend Dawn move to London, he said I can help you guys.  So the  trip that was sad because Dawn was leaving Windsor became one of laughter and friendship and ease.  When we were finished we wanted to take Edgar out for some fine dining but all he wanted was to go to the show to see “True Grit” with John Wayne.  Every time I see that movie come on television I get a warm fuzzy feeling in my heart.  
He was such a good sport.  One of the first Christmas parties at Holy Redeemer College in Windsor he allowed Irene Jessop and myself to put a make shift beard out of cotton balls on him and to use the red table cloth as his costume  and spoons as his sleigh bells and thus began the tradition of Santa at HRC's Christmas Parties.  He was the most magnificent Santa!  I could go on and on with so many other stories but let me just say that my life and the lives of so many other people have been made better by just crossing his path.
