Eleanor Madeline Bernard Cira

Passed away peacefully on Friday December 16, 2011, in her 90th year, at the Houses of Providence. Dear daughter of the late Michael and Madeliena Bernard. Beloved wife for 67 years to Vincent. Loved and loving mother of Lynn Cira (I. B. V. M.), JoAnne Peach (the late Donald) and Vince (Helen). She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren Gregory and Mark. Also survived by her brother Sal (Lois), and sisters Yolanda (the late Charles), Rosemarie (the late Sam). Predeceased by her sister Mildred (the late Ted). Dear sister-in-law of Dorothy (the late Joseph) and Margaret (the late Frank). Also predeceased by Mary and Jack, Sal and Irene, Agatha and John, Peter and Gertie, and Joe and Helen. She will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews and their families. A special thanks is extended to Daisy, Jane, Marilyn and Aurelia, as well as Dr. Margaret Bennett and the staff at the houses of Providence. Friends may call at the TRULL “NORTH TORONTO” FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTRE, 2704 Yonge St. (5 blocks south of Lawrence Ave.) on Thursday from 2-9 pm. A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday at ST. MARGARET OF SCOTLAND CHURCH, (Avenue Rd. South of Wilson) at 10:30 am.

Interment to follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery. If desired, in memoriam donations may be made to the charity of your choice.
