Eliana Simonetti was born on January 6, 1932 in Viareggio, Province of Lucca, Italy and passed away on March 7, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada at the age of 91 years. God called Eliana home to his kingdom and has reunited her with her beloved husband Pio.
She leaves behind her son Paolo and his wife Grace. Her granddaughter Janine (Steve Dobson) and their children, Dylan and Chloe. Also, Eliana’s grandson Christopher (Summer) and their son Landon.
Eliana will be dearly cherished by her son John and his wife Rose. Her grandchildren Daniel (Layla), Andrew and his son Malik. She will be dearly missed by her nephew, Gianmario Gemignani. Eliana will be forever remembered, loved and missed by all of her nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 200pm - 4:00pm and 6:00pm – 9:00pm.
The Funeral Mass will be on Monday, March 13, 2023 at 11:00am at St. Mary of The Angels Catholic Church. 1481 Dufferin St. (Dufferin and Davenport). PLEASE NOTE: On the morning of the Mass, we would ask that all friends go directly to the church allowing the family some private time prior to the service.
Entombment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. 8361 Yonge St. (Yonge and Hwy 7)
In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations in Memory of Eliana Simonetti be made to St. Clares Church or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend indoor funeral services, for those that feel more comfortable wearing a mask, please feel free to do so.
