Eva Margaret Nagy

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Eva Margaret Nagy on August 13, 2024, at the age of 81. A beloved mother, mama, sister, and cherished friend, Eva touched countless lives with her artistry, warmth, and generosity.

Born on March 31, 1943 in Budapest, Hungary, Eva discovered her passion for hairstyling early in life. Known for her exceptional skill, creativity, and ability to make every client feel special, Eva transformed not just hair, but also the lives of those who sat in her chair.

She has been reunited with her husband, Leslie (1978)

Eva is survived by her children: Annie, Simon, and Attila (Karen), Grandchildren: Matthew, Dylan, Alexandria, Lauren, Taylor, Sawyer, Hayden, and Marissa, Her brother: John (Kathy), her nieces: Erika (Paul) and Dianna (Glen), who will miss them dearly. Her legacy will live on in the countless smiles they created and the many lives they touched.

Visitation will be held on Monday August 19 from 4-8pm at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W., where friends and family are invited to celebrate Eva's remarkable life and the joy they brought to so many.

Funeral Mass will be on Tuesday August 20 at 11am at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, 432 Sheppard Ave E, North York. Please make your way directly to church on the morning of.

Cremation to follow privately.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Diabetes Foundation in Eva's honour.
