Evangelia Ioannou

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Evangelia Ioannou, who left us on February 11, 2025, at the age of 97. Evangelia now joins her beloved husband, Paskalis Ioannou, whom she lost in 1999. Hers was a life filled with love, kindness, and compassion.

Evangelia is survived by her devoted children Irene (& Nick) Panos, Nick (& Marlene) Ioannou, Tom Ioannou, and Mary (& Ron) Zaiser. She was a proud and cherished grandmother to Marianne, Angie, Sean, Julie, Stacy, Lisa, Sara, Rachel, and Megan, as well as a great-grandmother to 16 and great-great-grandmother to 13.

Evangelia was known for her talents in crocheting, knitting, cooking; all hobbies she loved because it gave her opportunity to generously share with friends and family. She brought warmth and kindness into the lives of everyone she encountered, leaving a lasting impression on those fortunate enough to know her. Her caring spirit will never be forgotten.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Delmoro Funeral Home.
