Born in Toronto on November 23, 1921, Evelyn passed peacefully and comfortably in Toronto on January 17, 2025 in her 104th year. Evelyn was predeceased by her parents Emma Helen (Henderson) and Thomas Hayhurst, and 5 brothers, Reginald, Stanley, Victor, Arthur and George. Evelyn is survived by her daughter Diane and grandson Luke (Tara). She was predeceased by her daughter Celia and is survived by her granddaughter Adrienne and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at Rosar-Morrison Funeral Home & Chapel on January 31, 2025 with visitation at 11:00am, and a short service at 12 noon followed by a reception. The visitation and service will be live streamed with a slide show of Evelyn’s life during the visitation hour. Please see [email protected] for details.
