Evelyn Isabel Gray (nee Lane), our loving mother, passed away peacefully, January 8, 2026, at 94 years, surrounded by her loved ones at North York General Hospital. She joins her husband John William Gray, and sister Joyce Lane.
She leaves behind her sons Andrew Gray (Catherine) and Robert Gray (MaryAnn), Granddaughter Meadow Jacklynn Gray, Brother Vincent Lane as well as many cousins and in-laws who will all miss her dearly.
Predeceased by her mother Lena Lane and her father Stanley Lane.
Evelyn was born on the family farm in Manitoba. After going to secretary school, she embarked on a trip to Ottawa where she met her husband John.
The family appreciates all you prayers and kind gestures during this difficult time.
A visitation will be held at Jerrett Funeral Home, located at 660 Kennedy Road, Toronto, ON, M1K2B5, Canada, on January 15, 2026, from 9:30 am to 10:30 am.
The funeral service will follow at 10:30 am to 11:30 am in the chapel.
A Burial will take place at Pine Hills Cemetery from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
