It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gennaro Figliuzzi at the age of 88 on January 12, 2025. Loving husband of Raffaela for 70 years. Loving father of Assunta, Nicola, Connie, and Antonio. Proud grandfather of Melissa and Darian. Gennaro will be missed by his many nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
Gennaro's passion was bike riding, walking, gardening, and socializing with everyone he met. Gennaro always wore a smile, and loved helping people.
Gennaro will be reunited in heaven with his parents, brothers and sisters, relatives, and friends who he loved and missed.
Gennaro will now be resting peacefully and free from pain.
A visitation for Gennaro will be held Sunday, January 19, 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, 1141 St Clair Ave West. A funeral mass will occur Monday, January 20, 2025 from 10:30 AM at St. Nicholas of Bari Catholic Church, 1277 St Clair Ave W. The Entombment will occur following the mass at 12:00 PM at Prospect Cemetery, 1450 St Clair Ave W.
