George Papaioannou

George was the second-born son of the late John and Helen (Karaziakos) Papaioannou and the beloved brother of the late Lukas (husband of the late Athina Shukari) Papaioannou.

He is survived by his loving sister, Katina (wife of the late Andreas) Anastasopoulos, and he will be sorrowfully missed by his children John(Bonnie) and Lisa, his grandchildren, Melissa, (Bryan), Holly (Piet), Zoe (Jake) and Tessa, and his great-grandchildren Emmett, Oscar, Connor, and Callie and his numerous cousins, nephews, and nieces.

The visitation will be held on Friday, April 7, from 5 pm to 9 pm at Jerrett Funeral Home "Scarborough", 660 Kennedy Road (south of Eglinton Ave. E.)

The Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 12 noon. George will be laid to rest at Pine Hills Cemetery in section 23.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in honour of his granddaughter Tessa Froese to Autism Ontario.
