Giovanni John Fasciano

at the age of 82. Born December 29, 1939 in the small town of Montorio nei Frentani in Southern Italy to Marietta and Giuseppi Fasciano, he was the 3rd child of 4 with two older sisters and a beloved younger sister who passed away from polio in childhood. He was a rambunctious youth with many stories of getting into trouble in the Old Country. John left for Canada when he was 15 years old to work with his dad and grandfather on the CN railway. He went on to attend George Brown College night school to become a HVAC technician working for companies Carrier and Honeywell before starting his own business. John was hard worker and proud of his craft and worked well into his 70s. He loved making food, gardening, old movies and telling stories to his grandkids. He will be missed but remembered always.

His visitation is to take place on March 21, 2022 at the Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home located at 2570 Danforth Ave from 11-12pm with the service to follow at 12. Entombment at Highland Memory Garden. The service is joinable through livestream for those unable to attend.
