Passed away peacefully in her home, surrounded by her loving family, the morning of January 2, 2011. Giuseppina fought a long and heroic battle against cancer, never relenting or ceding in her fight. Although she was taken from us much too early, in only her 45th year. She will forever be an inspiration from which we will eternally draw strength and courage. Beloved wife of Nick, Loving mother to Francesca and Cristina. Giuseppina is also predeceased by her father, Francesco and survived by her mother, Nicolina, her sisters, Anna Maria Tarantino, Graziella Bucci and Viola Garofalo and her brother Nicola Calabrese. Friends will be received at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. on Tuesday from 2-4pm and 6-9pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Clare’s Catholic Church, 1118 St. Clair Ave. W. on Wednesday,
January 5, 2011 at 11:00am. Entombment to follow at Prospect Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, donations to Humber River Regional Hospital Foundation, Oncology Department, would be appreciated.
