Ingeborg Wilma Tomes

In loving memory of Ingeborg Tomes, we invite family and friends to come celebrate and remember her life. Ingeborg Tomes passed away on Septmeber 15, 2023 in Toronto, Ontario, leaving a void that can never be filled.

Born on September 5, 1929 in Germany, Ingeborg spent 94 years gracing this world with kindness, warmth, and a compassionate heart. She was a pillar of strength for her family, embodying love and devotion in all aspects of life.

Family was at the heart of Inge's world. She cherished her role as a wife to Donald Tomes Sr (deceased), mother to Donald Jr (deceased), Barbara Khalili, David (deceased), Clifford, grandmother and great-grandmother.

A viewing will be held on Friday September 22, 2023 at Giffen-Mack and Trull Funeral Home, 2570 Danforth Ave. between 2 and 4pm with a memorial service to follow to honor and remember the beautiful life Ingeborg Tomes led. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to Canadian Cancer Society.

As we bid our final goodbyes, we are reminded of the immense impact Ingeborg had on our lives. She leaves behind a world that is brighter because of her presence, and she will forever be cherished and missed.
