Dearest Dave,
We are so saddened by the loss of your father. Marty and I will forever be grateful that he was with us during our wedding/family vacation. We will always have the fondest memories of him always.

We're really sad that your Dad has passed away and sorry because we won't be able to come and say goodbye at the visitation today. I only remember your Dad smiling and being such a kind, sincere and caring man. All the great times at Beaver Valley come to mind and I always looked forward to being with your family and their fun-loving, happy ways. Your Mom and Dad made many a ski day perfect with their warm hospitality at their charming chalet. Your father was such a kind gentle person. He shall be sadly missed. Our love to you all.

Susy, Peter and David, Our warmest condolence on your father's passing. He and your mother were such good friends in the Beaver Valley over so many years. The story may be apocryphal but the image is one that I cherish for it so well examples the passion for life and the great sense of fun that both Dyanne and Jim had. The image isthat of the two of them, one carrying the cat under the parka while each were walking into the snow drifts at the farm house, falling forward into the drift and then getting up to walk into the track created making their way through the storm to get to the house. For me there is something really special about that image which captures the great spirit that both of them had for life, for their marriage and for their family - all of you. Those years in the Beaver Valley are very special as are the group of friends that shared them. I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the visitation but I have a commitment with three of my clients with the ACT team here in Barrie. My best regards to you all. Ian Hector

Dear Suzy, Peter and David,

   I have thought of you all so often over the last few months, as I know how sad and stressful this time must have been. You will miss your Dad forever but sooner than you think, you'll only recall the great times your family had together. 

   There are so many wonderful memories of get-togethers with your parents and you kids, going back many, many years. When I close my eyes and reminisce, it just seems like yesterday––and I treasure those memories!

   I regret I won't be able to drive down to Toronto for Jimmy's funeral to offer my condolences in person but I send a big warm hug to each of you and your families.

I'm so sad to learn of Jim's passing. He was a good neighbor and friend for many years, along with your mother. I miss her very much, and know that they will now be together again.I have such fond memories of Jim going back to our high school days at Malvern Collegiate.He was so handsome and kind..Your family Xmas parties always included  us and were lots of fun.I  treasure my memories of  your parents .They were an important part of my past.
