Dr. James A. Maclean passed away Saturday morning January 20, 2018 at Toronto Michael Garron Hospital. Dr. Maclean was born in Charlottetown, PEI, the son of the late Mary Constance (Connie) Maclean and Alexander Hugh Maclean. He is survived by his sister Jocelyn Huyck and nieces Martina and Alexandra Huyck. Dr. Maclean attended Dalhousie University and graduated in Medicine in 1971. He worked front-line through the lethal SARS epidemic in 2003. He also was a pioneer in AIDS work. He is remembered by his colleagues and patients as a compassionate and caring physician.
