Janet Leslie Sonne

On March 30, 2014, Janet peacefully took her final breath after a long and courageous battle with MS. Cherished daughter of the late William and Ellen Hayward. Loving sister of Paul (Nancy) and David Hayward. Loving wife of the late Benjamin Thomas Edward Sonne. Dearest and most beloved mother of John and Shauna Sonne. Proud grandmother of Devon-John, Ayrianna, Lincoln, and Alexandrea Sonne. Janet will be eternally missed by extended family and friends, and will forever live in the hearts of generations to follow.

Friends and family will be received at the Giffen-Mack Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main Subway Stn.) 416-698-3121, on Friday, April 04 from 10 A.M. – 1 P.M. Service to be held at 1 P.M. Interment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens (2700 Kingston Rd.)

Reception will be held at daughter's (Shauna Sonne) home following the internment.
