Jessie Manson was born Dec. 5. 1983 in St. Catharines. She passed away Jan 25, 2026 after a sudden death at her home in Toronto. She was only 42. Jessie was an avid reader with a special love of poetry in particular Thomas Hardy; The Darkling Thrush, which seems quite fitting at this moment in time. Growing up Jessie nurtured and saved any and all animals in distress that she came upon. She was very compassionate, as well as generous & loving. She had a wonderful sense of humour and lived life with passion. Jessie is survived by her parents Cathy Rivas and Keith Manson, brother Cam Manson (Ashley) , sister Emily Rivas (Barrington), niece Reina, nephew Amari and sister Caitriona Hawthorne, nephew Cael.

A private service will be held in Toronto Feb. 9, 2026. Interment to follow at a later date.
