After a long hard struggle with Alzheimer's, Jim passed away on November 13, 2010 in his 84th year. His loving and caring wife Marjorie was by his side. Jim is survived by his wee sister Sheena (Angus Gordon), brothers John, Eric, Douglas, Kenneth, and sister-in-law Margaret Blackie. Jim will be held in the hearts of many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 660 Kennedy Road, Scarborough (between Eglinton and St. Clair Aves. E.). Funeral service will take place Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 11 a.m. in the Jerrett Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer donations to the Alzheimer Society.
