Passed away at Southlake Hospital in her 80th year on September 28, 2015
with her family and friends by her side. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Jack,
and predeceased by her brothers Gord and Ken, and sister Marlene, and her parents Vince and Ada.
Survived by her brother Don Gare. Loving mother of Dwayne. Great aunt to many nieces and nephews,
great-nieces and great-nephews. Joans family would like to extend a warm thank you to the staff at Southlake Hospital for
their compassion during her stay there. Visitation will be held at GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL
HOME, 2570 Danforth Ave. (at Main subway Station) 416-698-3121 on Friday, October 2, 2015
from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Funeral Service will be in the GIFFEN-MACK CHAPEL at 12:00 p.m.
Burial will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Pine Hills Cemetery.
