John Frederick James Pittman

(May 24, 1948-August 30, 2015)

Passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the age of 67.

Beloved husband of Wendy. Loving father of Rick (Susie), Shawn (predeceased) and

Kristen (Michael). Proud grandfather of eight. John will be greatly missed by many

family and friends. A visitation will be held in the GIFFEN-MACK FUNERAL HOME,

2570 Danforth Ave.(at Main St. Subway Station) 416-698-3121, on Tuesday, September 1, 2015

from 6pm to 9pm and Wednesday, September 2, 2015 from 1pm to 3pm. Funeral Service to follow

in the Giffen-Mack Chapel at 3pm. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to

Heart and Stroke Foundation.

THE BROKEN CHAIN

We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,

In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same.

It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone,

For part of us went with you, the day God called you home.

You left us peaceful memories; your love is still our guide,

And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side.

Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,

But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
