Jorge Saraiva

Jorge was born on September 25, 1933 in Vilar Torpim, Portugal and relocated to Lisbon, Portugal after his time in the army and where he would meet and marry the love of his life Deolinda Ramos. Together they started a family and later immigrated to Canada in 1967. In Canada Jorge found everything that he ever hoped of finding and he was always grateful for the life he led here.

Jorge is the loving Father of Paul (Piera), and Olga (Gino).

Cherished Grandpa to Jack (Monica) and Jamie.

Predeceased by his brother Jose and will be missed by Jose's wife Emilia.

He will be missed by his sisters Aguiar and Mariana. He will be forever remembered, loved and deeply missed by all of his nephews, nieces, his family and friends.

Family and friends may visit at the Jerrett Funeral Home, 1141 St. Clair Ave. W. (1 block east of Dufferin) on Friday, December 16th, 2022 from 2:00pm-4:00pm and 6:00pm-8:00pm

PLEASE NOTE: Masks are no longer required to attend the visitation or the funeral service, however, if you feel more comfortable wearing a mask please do so.

The Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, December 17th, 2022 at St. Anthony’s Church at 10:00am (On the morning of the service, please make your way directly to the church arriving 15 minutes prior to the service, this will allow the family some private time prior to the service.)

Cremation to follow privately.
